Pay-Per-Click (PPC) - Performance Marketing Manager
Navitas is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated PPC Performance Marketing Manager to lead the planning, delivery, and optimization of paid digital activity across key platforms. This role is central to driving high-quality traffic, leads, and conversions through performance-led campaigns, while delivering actionable insights that support broader marketing objectives across the organization.
As a hands-on role, the PPC Performance Marketing Manager will take responsibility for performance, budgets, and results, translating data into clear, strategic recommendations for stakeholders. While performance-focused, this role works collaboratively across the digital team. You will partner closely with colleagues in content, SEO, and web to ensure paid activity integrates seamlessly within the wider digital ecosystem, supporting a cohesive and effective approach to audience growth and conversion.
Key responsibilities
- Own paid digital campaigns end-to-end, including forecasting, planning, execution, continuous optimisation, and detailed performance reporting.
- Build, manage, and scale PPC activity across Google Search, Display, YouTube, and paid social platforms, ensuring best-practice delivery.
- Optimize campaigns against agreed KPIs, including CPL, conversion rate, lead quality, and lead volume, driving consistent performance improvement.
- Manage paid media budgets with full accountability, ensuring spend is strategically allocated to the highest-performing channels and audiences.
- Develop and execute audience strategies across prospecting, retargeting, and lookalike modelling to maximise reach, relevance, and efficiency.
- Drive testing and optimisation initiatives, including ad copy, creative formats, landing pages, and bidding strategies to enhance results.
- Provide clear, actionable insights through performance reporting, translating data into meaningful recommendations for stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with Business Units, university partners, recruitment, analytics, and web teams to align campaigns with priority markets and intakes, strengthen tracking, attribution, and measurement, and apply platform automation and AI-driven enhancements where they deliver value.
Essential skills, knowledge, and experience
- Proven experience managing PPC and paid social campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, and similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of performance marketing metrics, attribution, and optimisation techniques.
- Experience managing and optimising budgets to deliver measurable results.
- Confidence in analysing data and presenting actionable insights to stakeholders with varying levels of digital knowledge.
- Comfortable being hands-on in platforms while also contributing to strategic planning.
- A proactive, test-and-learn mindset with a clear focus on performance and outcomes.
