Party Chief

You are responsible for the survey operations (preparation, mobilisation and execution) and ensure they are carried out in accordance with the method statement and in a safe way;

You lead the offshore project team on board, optimising productivity and efficiency;

You communicate clearly with key project stakeholders: Project Management, Client representatives, Vessel master and crew;

You accurately monitor the progress and the quality of the works;

You ensure project deliverables are produced on time and up to the highest quality standards;

You report about budget and cost control in close collaboration with the project manager.

You hold a diploma related to hydrographic surveying, geophysics, geology, engineering or equivalent by experience;

You have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as party chief in the offshore industry;

You are familiar with marine survey techniques, and software;

You have a good practical sense and ability to do the job in challenging and remote conditions;

You have good communication ;skills and able to take a critical view towards the works to be carried out;

You are fluent in verbal and written English. Knowledge of any other language is an asset;

You have an excellent attention to detail, quality and safety;

You are willing to work on board of one of our vessel for a longer period of time (rotational schedule of 1:1).
