Join Ericsson as an Integration Engineer, an integral role where you will have the opportunity to manage and implement integration services. you have to work closely with regional counterparts in customer Solution Designing, High Level Design/ Low Level Design based on the requirements. Ability to accept and deliver assistance to meet deadlines, self-directed, organized, capable of multi-tasking and willing to shift priorities to meet business.
What you will do:
• Plan and execute Packet Core upgrades (SGSN-MME, AMF, SMF, UPF,CCPC,SAPC,WMG,EPG 3.x) • Perform pre-checks, health checks, and post-upgrade validations • Execute software installation, patching, and traffic migration activities • Ensure service continuity during maintenance windows and traffic cutovers • Troubleshoot integration and post-upgrade issues across network elements • Work closely with Solution Architects, Design, and Operations teams • Support rollback planning and execution in case of failures • Maintain and update Method of Procedure (MoP) and documentation • Automate repetitive tasks using scripting (Python/Shell preferred) • Ensure compliance with customer SLAs and quality standards
The skills you bring:
Strong knowledge of 4G EPC & 5G Core architecture • Hands-on experience with: MME / SGW / PGW/ AMF / SMF / UPF / PCF • Linux/Unix systems • Virtualization / Cloud (OpenStack, Kubernetes) • CI/CD tools (optional but preferred) • Log analysis and tracing tools • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills • Ability to work in high-pressure maintenance windows • Good stakeholder communication and coordination • Customer-facing experience preferred • Successful execution of upgrade activities with zero/low service impact • Accurate and timely reporting & documentation • Reduction in manual effort via automation • Improved network stability post upgrades
