Summary: As a Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer, you will configure and support packaged or SaaS applications to adapt features, manage releases, and ensure system stability. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to align solutions with business needs while utilizing standard tools, APIs, and low-code platforms to maintain compatibility and performance across systems. Roles & Responsibilities: - Develop and own the Test Strategy, Test Plan, and scope for SAP projects. - Identify test approach across SIT, E2E, Regression, UAT, and Production Validation. - Define test entry/exit criteria, environment needs, test data strategy, and dependencies. - Lead SIT & UAT cycles, ensuring complete coverage of business processes. - Coordinate with SAP functional consultants, ABAP team, integration teams (CPI/PI/PO/BTP) and business SMEs. - Monitor execution, track defects, and support timely resolution. - Manage defect lifecycle through tools like Solution Manager, ALM, Jira, HPQC. - Ensure testing follows quality standards, audit requirements, and documentation compliance. - Conduct daily defect triage with functional and technical owners. - Provide daily/weekly test progress dashboards, and risk reports. - Communicate test readiness and key issues to project leadership, PMO, and business stakeholders. - Raise risks/impediments proactively and drive mitigation actions. - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities. - Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of solutions. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Test Management. - Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices. - Experience with test automation tools and frameworks. - Ability to develop and execute test plans and test cases. - Familiarity with defect tracking and reporting tools. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Test Management. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.15 years full time education
