As the Outreach Manager - Advanced Cohort, you will be a key driver in Karya’s journey to scale its impact. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and manage partnerships with key Karya stakeholders to build Karya’s workforce of data specialists. These stakeholders would range from universities to hospitals to professional bodies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain networks with key universities, professional bodies, and hospitals to establish strategic partnerships that align with Karya’s mission of unlocking digital work opportunities for millions of Indians
  • Map and systematically engage with external stakeholders, like university administrations and student bodies to effectively present Karya’s initiatives and onboard students as data specialists for Karya
  • Engage with relevant departments and stakeholders to secure large-scale buy-in for Karya’s impactful initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align customer success needs with workforce building
  • Support cross-functional teams in executing client related projects at scale

Travel: Willingness to travel 10-20% of the time (as and when required)

Qualifications 

  • ~5 years experience in strategic partnerships or equivalent experience
  • Project management expertise with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and large-scale initiatives.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and collaboration skills
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Core competencies: 

  • Prior experience working with university administrations and influencing senior stakeholders 
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a stakeholder engagement strategy
  • Ability to leverage business acumen to strategically assess and help solve needs of stakeholders, to eventually establish partnerships
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, with the passion and hustle to build something impactful

Nice-to-Have Competencies:

  • Previous experience working in the gig economy or with social enterprises
