Your role, your impact
As an Oracle Cloud Reporting Consultant, you’ll play a critical role in supporting the design, development, validation, deployment, and ongoing support of Oracle Cloud reporting solutions. You’ll leverage your expertise across OTBI, BI Publisher, Financial Reporting Studio (FRS), Smart View, Narrative Reporting, and Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) to deliver high-quality reporting assets that support transactional, operational, financial, management, and executive reporting use cases. Your ability to develop and support Oracle Cloud reports, participate in reporting assessments, gather requirements, execute testing, deliver user training, and provide post-go-live support will directly contribute to accurate, well-documented, high-performing reporting solutions and the successful adoption of Oracle reporting tools.
ResponsibilitiesYour day-to-day
Develop and maintain OTBI analyses, dashboards, visualizations, and reporting solutions, and troubleshoot performance, security, data validation, and subject area issues;
Develop BI Publisher reports, configure parameters, bursting, scheduling, and delivery options, and support reporting requirements and troubleshooting activities;
Support Financial Reporting Studio (FRS) and Smart View report development, maintenance, validation, and reconciliation activities;
Support Narrative Reporting report packages, management reporting deliverables, data-source integration, workflow activities, and user support;
Support Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) reporting development, validation, reconciliation, troubleshooting, and user adoption activities;
Participate in reporting assessments, report inventory reviews, requirements gathering, documentation, development planning, and reporting specification activities;
Execute testing, validation, reconciliation, and deployment support activities for Oracle Cloud reporting solutions;
Develop training materials and knowledge-transfer documentation, and support reporting training sessions for end users and project teams;
Provide post-go-live support for reporting incidents, enhancements, and Oracle update activities;
Collaborate with reporting leads, functional consultants, technical teams, and client stakeholders to deliver high-quality reporting solutions.
Keys to your success
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience;
3+ years of experience supporting Oracle Cloud reporting, analytics, BI, ERP, EPM, HCM, SCM, or related enterprise reporting initiatives;
Hands-on experience developing reports, dashboards, data models, financial reporting artifacts, and Oracle reporting solutions using OTBI, BI Publisher, FRS, Smart View, Narrative Reporting, and Fusion Data Intelligence;
Experience with SQL, data models, templates, prompts, parameters, calculations, dashboard design, scheduling, and bursting;
Experience with data reconciliation, report testing, defect analysis, issue resolution, source-to-report validation, and reporting documentation activities;
Experience working with Financials, Supply Chain, Human Capital Management, EPM, and cross-functional reporting use cases within offshore, Smart Shore, global delivery, or distributed project team environments;
Strong attention to detail, communication, stakeholder collaboration, and time management skills, with the ability to gather reporting requirements, validate results, manage multiple priorities, and take ownership of reporting deliverables.
Extra edge
Oracle Cloud certifications or relevant analytics and reporting certifications;
Experience with Oracle Fusion ERP, HCM, SCM, and EPM reporting, including General Ledger, Payables, Receivables, Fixed Assets, Procurement, Projects, Planning, FCCS, Smart View, and financial reporting packages;
Experience with FDI, OAC, analytics dashboard implementations, reporting assessments, reporting inventory analysis, rationalization, future-state reporting strategy, and supporting multiple concurrent projects or managed-services clients;
Experience delivering training materials, knowledge-transfer sessions, and user support, troubleshooting reporting performance, security, data validation, and source-to-report discrepancies, and contributing to reusable reporting assets, standards, documentation, and cross-training initiatives.
