Job Description

The Business Operations Analyst at Sabre is a pivotal role designed to bridge the gap between strategy and execution, ensuring the commercial team is both disciplined and dynamic in its approach. Tasked with providing critical analytics, strategic insights, and comprehensive support, this role equips our team with the necessary tools to excel in the competitive travel technology market. Through a blend of analytical prowess and operational excellence, this resource will empower our team to seize opportunities, navigate challenges, and drive Sabre towards unprecedented growth in South Asia.

Job Description:

• Strategy execution: Work very closely with the Regional Director and will be instrumental in the effective execution of our decisions.

• Implement decisions: Implement the regional strategies (defined by the commercial leadership team) to secure Sabre's position as the top GDS provider, focusing on market growth and excellence.

• Drive Collaboration: Be the glue that binds different functions like Care, Billing, Sales Enablement, Finance, PTC, Training and Marketing, ensuring they're all rowing in the same direction – towards our collective goals.

• Analytics: Create and manage reports that not just track, but illuminate paths for sales success across India and South Asia. Build and schedule regular and ad-hoc reports which will help our commercial teams stay ahead of the game. Provide the sales team with the insights, data, and encouragement they need to achieve their targets.

• Pipeline Development and Management: Work hand-in-hand with sales to unearth new opportunities and build a robust sales pipeline that fuels our growth. You will also stay on top of Salesforce opportunities to ensure they are most up to date (Help team to maintain Salesforce hygiene).

• Deal Approval Process: Guide our team through the complexities of major deals, ensuring diligence, alignment, and strategic fit.

• Customer Insights: Dive deep into customer insights which will help commercial team to craft solutions and strategies that elevate their experience with Sabre.

• Process Optimizer: Streamline operations to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and agility across the board.

• Presentations: Use your presentation skills to weave compelling narratives that persuade and inspire both internal teams and external partners.

• Marketing and Communication: Partner with the marketing team to plan and execute campaigns and events that resonate with our audience, driving engagement and brand loyalty.

• Work with our PR team to ensure we are communicating our success externally.

Education and Certification:

• Bachelor’s degree: in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field. A Master’s degree (e.g., MBA) is preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum 10 plus years of experience in business analysis, operations management, or a similar role within the travel technology industry or related sectors.

• Proven track record of implementing successful business strategies and operations improvements.

• Experience with data analysis and reporting, with a strong ability to interpret and present data in a meaningful way to support decision-making.

• Prior experience in working with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, product, implementation, Finance and Marketing etc) to drive organizational goals.

• Demonstrated experience in process optimization.

• Familiarity with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce, and proficiency in managing sales pipelines and customer relationship data.

• Experience in market analysis and the ability to translate market trends and customer insights into actionable strategies. Skills and Abilities:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex information in a clear and persuasive manner to various stakeholders.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI etc.) is a plus.

• Ability to work independently and in a team, demonstrating leadership and initiative.

• Strategic thinking with the ability to see the big picture while also focusing on the details.

• Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

• Adaptability and flexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
