Nokia's Enterprise Applications team is seeking a highly skilled IT Solution Architect specializing in O2C Finance. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate on the functional design and evolution of our Order-to-Cash systems, directly impacting core Finance functions such as Billing, Credit Management, E-Invoicing, and Cash Collections. Your expertise will be crucial in architecting robust IT solutions that ensure seamless revenue realization from order intake through to cash collection.
You will collaborate closely with key business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into comprehensive functional specifications, and implement innovative solutions leveraging our SAP ECC and S/4HANA landscapes.
Responsibilities- Lead the end-to-end functional design of SAP Finance solutions within your assigned domain(s) (FI-AR, PS, or Revenue Recognition).
- Translate complex business requirements into clear, concise, and robust functional specifications and solution designs for SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments.
- Ensure the architectural integrity, scalability, and performance of Finance solutions, adhering to Nokia's IT standards and best practices.
- Perform hands-on SAP configuration in the Financial Accounting domain to build and prototype solutions.
- Act as a trusted advisor to Finance business stakeholders, understanding their strategic needs and operational challenges.
- Facilitate discussions to analyze, and validate business requirements, ensuring alignment between business needs and IT capabilities.
- Collaborate with other IT architects, developers, and project managers to ensure seamless integration and delivery of solutions across the enterprise.
- Oversee the development and implementation phases of SAP solutions, ensuring they align with design specifications and quality standards.
- Provide expert guidance on SAP Finance functionalities, configuration, and integration points within your domain(s) to development teams.
- Participate in testing cycles (unit, integration, UAT) to ensure solutions meet business requirements and perform as expected.
- Create and maintain comprehensive solution documentation, including functional designs, technical specifications, process flows, and configuration guides.
- Ensure adherence to Nokia's IT governance, security, and compliance standards throughout the solution lifecycle.
- Stay abreast of SAP innovations (e.g., S/4HANA capabilities, Fiori apps) and industry best practices in Finance IT.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and innovation within the Finance landscape.
Must-Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field with Minimum of 4+ years of experience in SAP finance modules, with a strong focus on Order-to-Cash (O2C) & Cash Applications (FI-AR).
- Financial Accounting (FI-AR): Accounts Receivable processes, credit management, collections, dispute management.
- Project Systems (PS): Project structuring, cost and revenue planning, budgeting, settlement, reporting.
- Revenue Recognition: SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) or classic revenue recognition processes.
- Hands-on experience with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA, specifically in SD for billing and FI-AR (Accounts Receivable).
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice-To-Have:
- Experience with the integration of SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) with SAP SD.
- Familiarity with automation tools and AI/ML concepts in the O2C space, such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA), machine learning for cash application, or predictive analytics for credit management.
