The Performance Optimization Specialist performs short-term capacity utilization and traffic pattern assessments to evaluate the impact on current and future architecture and recommend optimal network strategy for future traffic capacity needs, leveraging automation techniques to reduce analysis time and other optimization-related activities that involve repetition. They find problems that were not identified during testing. In addition to diagnosing network performance issues, the POS generates daily, weekly, and monthly reports related to technology aspects of the customer solution.
 

Responsibilities
  • Deep Audit, KPI / Counter level analysis, and troubleshooting skills. Who is able to recommend the Parameter, Features, or solution to improve the end user experience.
  • Good understanding of antenna patterns and their impact on coverage and interference. i.e., impact of MIMO and massive MIMO, diversity control, etc.
  • Good Hands-on experience on Power Control and impact of various power settings on the LTE/NR network, Excellent at LMS (Traffic balancing using physical and soft parameters while ensuring KPI’s are met), Mobility management strategies, Layer3 analysis.
  • Distills the big picture, has a Business growth mindset, builds customer trust, showcases Nokia's capabilities to customers, and consistently meets set targets.
  • Individual Contributor: Operates autonomously in own subject area. Can analyze, develop and implement concepts and solutions as a subject matter expert.
  • Acts as a professional leader for staff / Work team/task forces, often the most senior specialist in a team, who serves as a best practice resource within their own organizational unit and/or is recognized as an expert within the same professional area in the business.
  • Often leads functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and complexity, handles day-to-day staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work.
  • Holds a customer-focused, high degree of technical skills to resolve complex, unfamiliar network issues, able to think out of the box to address complex scenarios and be able to effectively justify the rationale behind proposed recommendations.
  • Good at customer handling, Presentation skills, Negotiation skills, can solve Complex problems based on sophisticated analytical thought and complex judgment, Handle Technical escalation, provide technical consultancy to the team, can bring transformation in delivery & take delivery to a new summit.
  • Effectively communicates with parties within and outside of own job function and teams to devise e2e solution.
  • Works to influence others to accept the job function’s view/practices and agree/accept new concepts, practices, and approaches.
  • Demonstrates success in multiple roles and is adaptable to manage complex, changing business environments.
  • Ready and available to Work in different time zones with all days operating fromthe  office (APAC, MEA, NAM Shifts, etc...)
  • Should be able to understand analyses Nokia ND reports such as RSLTE001,  RSLTE038RSLTE005RSLTE031RSLTE049 etc.
Qualifications

Must Have:

  • 15-20 years of experience in RF optimization (Min 05-06 years of experience in LTE-NR RF optimization)
  • Level 4 / Level 5 expert in LTE- NR Nokia RF optimization
  • Excellent at LTE / NR concepts, procedures, Approach
  • Solid understanding of Nokia Products, Solutions, Tools, Parameters, Timers, Features, Counters, KPI’s
  • Effectively communicates with parties within and outside of own job function and teams to devise e2e solution.
  • Works to influence others to accept job function’s view/practices and agree/accept new concepts, practices, and approaches.
  • Demonstrates success in multiple roles and is adaptable to manage complex changing business environments.
  • Ready and available to Work in different time zone with all days operating from office (APAC, MEA, NAM Shifts etc...)
