National Sales Manager - Repl. Sales, Farm PBU
What You’ll Do
Strategic Sales & Business Development
- Define and implement national sales strategies to grow the farm replacement tire business across rural and semi-urban markets
- Monitor market dynamics, crop cycles, and government policies to identify new opportunities
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Supply Chain teams to enhance Goodyear’s brand relevance in the farm segment
Channel & Rural Distribution Management
- Strengthen and expand the rural dealer network to ensure high availability and visibility of Goodyear farm tires
- Identify, appoint, and nurture high-potential channel partners in untapped territories
- Oversee dealer onboarding, training, pricing, credit management, and incentive programs
Team Leadership
- Lead a team of Regional Sales Managers, Territory Managers, and Field Executives focused on farm tire sales
- Foster a high-performance culture through goal setting, accountability, and talent development
- Conduct regular market visits, ride-alongs, and channel partner meets to stay close to field realities
P&L & Operational Management
- Own the P&L for the farm replacement business, driving profitability, revenue, and volume growth
- Manage sales forecasting, inventory planning, and logistics coordination with internal teams
- Ensure effective use of trade schemes, market development funds, and ROI-focused initiatives
Customer & Farmer Engagement
- Support farmer outreach through field demos, training, and agri-events
- Build long-term trust with end users by promoting Goodyear’s value proposition in farm productivity, tire life, and ROI
- Handle escalated customer issues and ensure resolution in coordination with customer service and technical teams
What You Bring
- 15+ years of experience, including 5+ years in a senior sales role in farm equipment, agri-inputs, FMCD, or rural automotive sales
- Strong knowledge of India’s agricultural landscape, rural channel dynamics, and crop-based seasonality
- Proven experience managing rural distributor/dealer networks
- Analytical and data-driven approach to problem-solving
