Microsoft 365 Support Engineer

YOUR ROLE

In this role you will be working as M365 Support Engineer. As part of your role, you will be expected to have strong skills and expertise on Microsoft 365 adminstration: engineering, migration, configuration setup, technical documentation, action plans, Level 1 support (incidents and problems resolution) and continuous improvement. You will need a blend of superb problem-solving and innovation skills to resolve a wide variety of technical challenges. You should be able to work under general or minimal directions.

You will be working with best-in-class employees with a diverse background in a very fun and engaging environment.

What you will be doing

  • Must have the aptitude to learn new technical tools and business processes.
  • Demonstrates the ability to contribute ideas and suggestions during design and technical meetings.
  • Should be able to with business users to assist on projects
  • Administer Microsoft Purview & Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Provide troubleshooting and support for available solutions.
  • Adhere to SOP, standards and best practices established in the project.
  • Contributing to reporting and governance of overall M365 platform

What you bring

  • 1-3 years Microsoft 365 administration experience with Entra ID, Compliance portal (Purview)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 Identity and Access Management, Azure Active Directory
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 monitoring service health, removal of user accounts, and management of service requests
  • Experience with system monitoring, issue investigation, performance monitoring and tuning
  • Hands-on experience with PowerShell
  • Oversee Microsoft 365 roadmap releases, ensuring that proper planning, tracking, and communication is in place for upcoming changes
  • Support hybrid Azure Active Directory (AAD) environment and AAD based Single Sign On (SSO)
  • Manage assigned projects and tasks, ensuring timely completion
  • Partner with other team members to understand system requirements and configurations
  • Maintain documentation of technology systems, processes, and components
  • Microsoft 365 Certification(s) and other related Microsoft Certification
  • Experience working in a distributed team environment
  • Able and willing to learn new technologies and tools required for the project.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Detail orientated and able to thoroughly document and communicate issues
  • Strong focus on providing service to the customer.
  • Out of the box thinking; Flexible / Critical thinking skills a must.
  • Able to sell concepts and designs / benefits to multiple audiences.
  • Able to work independently and in diverse, co-located and remote teams
