HPE’s Performance Marketing, Analytics and AI is at the forefront, leading the digital and as-a-service transformation within HPE working across HPE Marketing and Communications. The Data Analytics and AI team within this group is looking for a core team member to drive analytics and insights work leveraging the new technology platforms and data. The team member will work on programs that use data driven insights to better connect with customers and enhance their customer experience. We’re looking for someone who has proven expertise in digital marketing and email data and operations, a desire to learn more about HPE’s marketing, email, reporting and analytics programs, and a comfort level in learning new digital platforms used for digital marketing, email and web analytics and performance reporting.
Position Overview:
•    This position will be a core team member of the Data Science and Digital Analytics team under the Data Analytics and AI Organization
•    Primary functions include generating insights from data and analytics, working with cross functional teams from digital marketing, email, data operations and data sciences, leveraging existing and new technology and data platforms, internal stakeholder management/support, and coordination for project development, management, and implementation
•    The ideal candidate for this position, will be considered a SME for email data analytics  , can demonstrate a great capacity to take initiatives, an ability to consistently deliver above expectation, a passion for quality and continuous improvement, curiosity for getting to the “why” behind performance, and a willingness to work hard and be rewarded

What you’ll do:

Responsibilities:
•    Formulates and defines analytics solution objectives and technical requirements based on user needs, an understanding of business processes, industry requirements
•    Communicate the analytics solution to the appropriate stakeholders
•    Serve as the SME of Email data and reporting, manage communications and expectations with internal stakeholders from the Digital Demand – Email Organization, Data Analytics and AI organization, Digital Business Product to Market organization, and HPE Brand Marketing
•    Deliver data-driven recommendations across channels to improve HPE Email strategy and decision-making 
•    Build and grow relationships with email teams & internal teams ensuring innovation by researching and testing new tools and solutions.

What you need to bring:
Education and Experience Required:
•    5-6 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, analytics, email marketing analytics, digital media, project management, or related fields
•    Master’s degree in economics, Marketing, Statistics, Advertising, or Business/Digital media planning experience, MBA/Masters in Marketing

Preferred Knowledge and Skills:
•    Technically skilled and able to manipulate large raw datasets using advanced spreadsheet formulas and SQL, Python – ability to write complex queries from scratch from multiple tables, creating the appropriate joins, extracting and manipulating data, formatting fields, creating new measures and metrics, etc.
•    Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
•    Creating reports and presentations on email campaign performance
•    Communicating insights and suggestions to other teams and the management
