Position OverviewThe Manager for Platform & Automation will oversee the operations and growth of our automation and platform ecosystem in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. Responsibilities include supervising a team of engineers, working closely with international executives, and guaranteeing the provision of scalable, secure, and automated solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Head and support a team of platform engineers.
- Coordinate key automation platforms to ensure stability and performance.
- Coordinate incident response and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Drive automation strategy across infrastructure and system integrations.
- Ensure platform security and compliance.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and cybersecurity standards.
- Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations and processes.
- Support internal audits.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 8-10 years of IT experience, with 3-5 years in platform, automation, or DevOps management.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, Vault, Ansible, and StackStorm.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
- Technical expertise in DevOps and cloud platforms.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and collaborator engagement.
- Customer-focused with a drive for innovation.
- Hands-on experience with key platforms such as Terraform, Vault, Ansible, and StackStorm (or equivalents).
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and configuration management principles.
- Proven experience leading technical teams in a global or distributed environment.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, VMware) and enterprise automation patterns.
