About the role:
The Consumer marketing team at TMB is looking for a Manager, Performance Marketing. This position will report to our Associate Director, Performance Marketing and own all paid media channels (mainly META & Google) to deliver on the goals of multiple business lines. The Manager, Performance Marketing will be responsible for overseeing proper execution, strategy, reporting, analysis, optimization, and presentation/articulation of campaigns paid promotions. This person and their team need to be able to pivot quickly, execute with accuracy, stay focused on KPIs and be able to provide clear creative direction.
About you:
You are well-versed in digital advertising platforms and possess a solid understanding of Social Media, SEM, and Programmatic buying. You thrive on driving measurable results and have a knack for balancing data-driven decision-making with creative strategy. You’re skilled in optimizing campaigns to achieve business goals like ROI and ROAS while effectively managing budgets and timelines. Collaboration is second nature to you, and you excel in communicating strategies, insights, and recommendations across teams. You have hands-on experience with Social, SEM, Display, and Video platforms and are comfortable with performance metrics and analytics.
Your Day-to-Day:

  • Execute and optimize paid media campaigns across Social Media and Search Engine Marketing channels to drive content engagement and website traffic. Using an agile learning approach, experiment extensively to learn and optimize our promotional strategy. Use a wide array of digital tools and channels, ensuring alignment with business objectives and KPIs.
  • Work closely with the Associate Director of Performance Marketing to implement strategies, refine audience targeting, and define the media mix to achieve benchmarks.
  • Partner with the creative team to provide clear, actionable feedback and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality assets for campaigns. Utilize AI tools to develop iterative creative quickly and at high volume to facilitate testing.
  • Analyse campaign performance regularly, identify trends, and implement tactical adjustments to improve results. Leverage data to make informed recommendations and forecasts. Meet at least weekly with web team to ideate and continuously optimize to meet objectives.
  • Prepare performance reports and presentations for senior leadership, translating complex analytics into actionable insights and strategic narratives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive activities, and emerging platforms to ensure campaigns are innovative and relevant.
  • Collaborate with the Data Team to leverage first-party data for audience segmentation and targeting. Partner with the Site Optimization Team to refine the user journey and maximize conversion rates.
  • Manage media budgets with precision, ensuring that spending aligns with campaign objectives and delivers maximum value.

You Have:

  • Education: BA in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 6-7 years in Digital Media buying and activation (agency experience preferred); 2+ years in Social Media and/or SEM campaigns.
  • Skills: Strong in cross-channel media buying, problem-solving, and project management.
  • Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in Google Analytics, BI tools (Looker is a plus), Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Communication: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to catch and correct errors with precision.
  • Adaptability: Quick learner with a strong grasp of industry trends and emerging platforms.

About this team:
The Manager, Performance Marketing will report directly to the Associate Director of Performance Marketing and collaborate closely with the Ad-Ops team to ensure seamless campaign execution and optimization. This dynamic team is central to driving key KPIs and achieving performance benchmarks. Working alongside the Site Optimization team, the Manager will play a critical role in executing strategies that keep TMB brands competitive and thriving in a rapidly changing marketplace.
