JOB SCOPE

Work Description:

  • Accountable for all deliveries at a market level

  • Deliver projects with a span of 4 – 10 team members and ensure adherence to timeline, quality, cost etc.

  • Manage people, careers, attrition and Employee engagement

  • Manage and own stakeholder relationships and act as first point of escalation for projects

  • Drive operational efficiencies through quality, technology, automation and standardization initiatives

  • Leverage best practices followed across the market.

  • Risk Analysis and mitigation – Understanding of high impact risks, develop mitigation plans and governance

  • Training needs assessment for team

  • Work on analysis and group insights for projects.

Role Overview:

The individual is responsible for managing colleagues and resources in pursuit of achieving specific functional or organizational goals. He/She should be involved with his/her team members providing support, offering encouragement and delivering positive and constructive feedback.

Operations Manager is the first level people manager within the operations. Typically managing a team of 4-10 colleagues (may vary depending on the overall team size) and reporting to the Manager II. The individual develops and implements strategy to achieve the defined business objectives/targets and provides guidance in determining service level agreements, determining control standards and identifying issue escalation matrix.

  • Project Management – Manage projects end to end with focus on Quality of Delivery and Process Efficiency. Track and control project timelines, resource allocation, identify and mitigate risks, and accountable for communication management

  • Lead kick-off meetings for large/ complex assignments/Global projects to ensure common and comprehensive understanding of client/stakeholder requirements

  • Define and implement SLAs along with on-shore stakeholders.

  • Identify and lead process enhancement initiatives

  • Acts as the first point of contact for colleagues, on company programs and policies

  • Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability in a changing environment

  • Strong product and domain expertise

  • Stakeholder and market management

  • Translate the business goals to individual goals and set expectations/targets

  • Performance management through regular connects of all direct reports

  • Build and manage capability – ensure 100% key talent back-up

  • Ensure colleagues are motivated and engaged to perform

  • Define career paths and development goals

  • Focus on enhancing technical & personnel effectiveness through training, education and coaching

  • Ensuring succession planning for critical roles

  • Strong analytical bent of mind and exposure to statistical tool, analytics tools, reporting tool preferably MS Power Apps/Tableau / PowerBI Basic knowledge of HTML and Java script.

  • Prefer advanced knowledge of analysis tools like R and Python

  • Builds productive working relationships with peers and higher level professionals internally and externally.

  • Maintains contact with a variety of Clients
