As the Lead Technical Program Manager - VP within the Infrastructure Platforms Foundational Services team, you will promote the successful delivery of complex, cross-functional technology initiatives in Network, Storage, Data Protection, and Restore domains. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure solutions that support business growth and operational stability.

As the Lead Technical Program Manager - VP within the Infrastructure Platforms Foundational Services team, you will promote the successful delivery of complex, cross-functional technology initiatives in Network, Storage, Data Protection, and Restore domains. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure solutions that support business growth and operational stability.
Job responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project and program management for initiatives in Network, Storage, Data Protection, and Restore domains, ensuring delivery of high-quality, on-scope, on-time, and on-budget solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, business stakeholders) to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, track progress, proactively identify risks and issues, and drive resolution and mitigation strategies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal customers, building strong relationships and ensuring requirements are understood and met.
- Facilitate regular status updates, executive reporting, and stakeholder communications to ensure transparency and alignment.
- Drive financial and project management rigor, including resource planning, budget management, and benefit realization.
- Champion best practices in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies, supporting teams in adopting and optimizing delivery frameworks.
- Monitor project health and performance using standard governance practices, escalating decisions and issues to executive sponsors as needed.
- Foster a culture of trust, collaboration, and continuous improvement within project teams and with stakeholders.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years of IT project management experience, including 5+ years working directly with infrastructure and/or network engineering in a global environment.
- Proven track record managing complex, multi-million-dollar technology projects through all phases of the lifecycle.
- Deep expertise in project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, Kanban) and tools (e.g., Clarity, Beeline, Microsoft Project).
- Strong understanding of distributed infrastructure domains: Network, Storage, Data Protection, and Restore.
- Experience working with geographically distributed and culturally diverse teams.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
- Strong negotiation, influencing, and leadership skills.
- Experience working with external service providers and vendors.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience in financial services or large enterprise environments.
- Domain expertise in Network, Storage, Data Protection, and Distributed Infrastructure.
- Experience presenting metrics and project updates to senior stakeholders and executives.
- Ability to simplify complex technical topics for non-technical audiences.
- Formal project management training/certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, etc.) preferred.
