What's the role?

As a Lead Software Engineer for Navigation in China, you will:

  • Play a key role in developing the Routing, Guidance, and ADAS components used in the HERE SDK and related products across the company.
  • Work with modern C++ (C++17), own complex technical challenges, and contribute to a high‑quality developer experience for customers.
  • Explore solutions, deliver high-quality software, work outside your comfort zone when needed, and enjoy learning new technologies.
  • On demand on-site support to resolve complex customer issues
Who are you?

You are a strong fit for this role if you possess the following qualifications, skills,competencies and experience :

  • Bachelor/Master in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar technical degree
  • 8+ years of professional software development experience
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment (Scrum or Kanban)
  • Proficiency in algorithms and data structures
  • In-depth knowledge of C++17
  • Extensive experience with the Standard Template Library
  • Good understanding of object-oriented principles
  • Experience with multithreaded development
  • Exposure to Automotive related software is a plus, though not mandatory
  • Fluent communication skills in English and Mandarin
