Lead Recruiter responsible for managing recruitment processes, mentoring teams, sourcing IT candidates, evaluating their suitability, and ensuring compliance with recruiting standards.
We are immediately hiring an experienced Sr. / Lead Technical Recruiter to join our inhouse Recruitment team in New Delhi, India office to support our relationship with our top technology clients in North America
Location: Janakpuri, New Delhi 110058
Work from home available due to current COVID-situation
Working Hours: Night Shift (7:00 PM to 4:00 PM)
*Saturday and Sunday Off
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead Recruiters are responsible for satisfying all of the responsibilities of a Recruiter and in addition, have responsibilities unique to their leadership role, including training new Recruiters, mentoring Recruiters within the branch/department, deploying the proper recruiting resources to ensure coverage of requirements, and providing various reports and assuring the recruiting staff adheres to system requirements, productivity metrics, etc.
- Works with the BDM as an end-to-end resource on assigned client relationships to identify IT staffing needs.
- Responsible for proactive sourcing of IT candidates to build a pipeline of candidates.
- Conducts searches using traditional & creative sourcing methods, including internal database searches, online searches, Internet postings etc.
- Pre-qualifies candidates for anticipated job requirements according to recruiting standards/processes including checking candidate references, walk-throughs, technical assessments & ensures candidates complete an application.
- Determines candidate suitability by evaluating requirements, negotiating compensation package, assessing relevant experience, education, skills and personal qualifications to determine pay type/rate, relocation benefits, required H1 processing, etc.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience plus five to seven years experience in information technology recruiting, preferably in an IT consulting environment.
- Prior supervisory experience is a plus.
- Proven negotiation skills are a must. Requires excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with candidates/clients at all levels.
- Requires ability to effectively multi-task and function in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
