10 + years of experience in the Financial Services industry or Information Technology industry.
Education:
- MBA, Finance specialization preferred, or equivalent education in Finance
- CFA, FRM, CIPM certifications preferred but not mandatory
Capital Market domain experience
In-depth knowledge in several areas of capital market, especially foreign exchange. The candidate should have exposure in working on the front, middle and back office and have worked in any one or more of the following areas: Foreign Exchange – Spot/Forward/Option/Swaps, FX Trade Lifecycle, Cash Flow management, Risk Management, Derivatives trade processing, and/or Trade Life Cycle.
Additional specialization in areas such as equities, fixed income, derivatives,currencies,commodities, etc.
Knowledge of vendor products such as Calypso, Murex, Quantum, Front Arena, etc. is preferable.

Business consultant will be performing the following 4 activities in our Capital Markets sub-vertical of BFSI
Business Analysis
- Possess strong verbal and writing skills
- Serve as liaison between the Technology build team and client business users
- Assist the business in identifying, assessing, and documenting business requirements
- Ability to work in Agile projects. Familiar with agile terminologies.
- Perform requirements gathering and analysis for small to large application development projects and involvement in other software lifecycle phases such as architecture design, configuration, testing, etc.
- Own the documentation of detailed functional specifications, and develop use cases to explain / demonstrate business requirements / specifications
- Ability to be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work
- Work under minimum direction and use independent judgment in decision-making
Business Development
- Contributes to the growth of a line of business, solution offering, territory etc., directly or through participation in client presentations, preparation of project proposals, estimations, development marketing and intellectual collaterals, gathering competitor intelligence, etc.
- Contribute to the consulting practice through industry trend analysis, market research, impact of digital and new technologies onto the financial industry, etc.
- Develop thought leadership material in the form of white papers and point solutions
- Develops or contribute to the development of solution accelerators (such as PoC, goto market strategies) that promote new-solution offerings.
Client Management
- Builds effective working relationship with the client / client's PoC
