ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The incumbent will support the maintenance and accuracy of master data across Customer, Vendor, Material, and Chart of Accounts (CoA) domains in line with company policies and data governance standards. The role will assist in data creation, modification, and validation activities within SAP S/4HANA, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and reliable data for business operations. The position requires close coordination with Finance, Procurement, and IT teams to support day-to-day master data requests and ensure timely resolution of issues.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY RESULT AREAS

• Manage creation, modification, and deletion of Customer, Vendor, Material, and CoA master data in accordance with global data governance standards.
• Create and update Customer, Vendor, Material, and CoA master data in SAP as per approved requests and defined global templates.
• Perform initial checks to ensure data completeness, accuracy, and compliance with standard naming and coding conventions.
• Support master data migration, uploads, and validation activities during ERP integration or entity onboarding projects.
• Assist in maintaining SOX and internal control compliance by following documented processes and approval workflows.
• Track and follow up on pending master data requests or open issues with stakeholders to ensure timely closure.
• Support in preparing periodic reports or dashboards on master data status, highlighting pending or error records.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, Procurement, Sales, IT) to resolve data-related discrepancies or requests.
• Maintain clear documentation and audit trail for all master data changes and requests processed.
• Escalate data quality or compliance concerns to senior team members for timely resolution.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Education: Graduate in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent discipline.
• ERP Knowledge: Basic working knowledge of SAP (preferably S/4HANA) in master data modules.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with reporting tools; knowledge of PowerPoint preferred.
• Experience: 4-7 years of experience in MDM, Finance, or related data management roles within a shared services or corporate setup.
• Other: Understanding of basic accounting concepts and organizational data structures is desirable.
