Job Summary
Aeris Communications is seeking a strong Java Senior Engineer with solid background in GenAI and Software Engineering product development. You will be based in Aeris India (Noida or Gurgaon) working in our Telematics team to build an IoT platform for smart cars. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the design, and implementation of our Connected Car platform with GenAI services. You will conduct research and leveraging cutting-edge GenAI technologies and build AI Agents and ensure the successful delivery of our committed GenAI Objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Passionate, innovative, likes to explore and continuously challenge yourself and your team, strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Proficiency in Java programming language with ability to quickly learn new ones (NodeJS and Python are plus)
- Working knowledge of Java, Spring, Hibernate, REST, XML, JSON, Message Queues, databases – both relational and non releational.
- Basic understanding on Design Patterns, Design Principles, Data Structures
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Communicates proactively and effectively with product and engineering management and project stakeholders in a highly agile environment
- At least a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent discipline. Knowledge in electrical engineering experience is a plus
Minimum Requirements
- A minimum of 3-7 years of industry experience.
Preferred Requirements
- Bitbucket/git, Jenkins, docker, Messaging (JMS/AMQP/MQTT/Kafka), AWS, Redis, Junit, Security, Event Driven Architecture (CQRS, Axon, Reactor etc.)
- Experience developing in NodeJS.
- Telecom-related product experience
- Ability to understand and debug in an Google Cloud environment
- Previous experience working with geographically distributed teams
