The Team
We are a Global IT Team responsible for managing infrastructure, applications, and technology support across Hitachi Digital Global and GlobalLogic. Our key activities include system administration, network monitoring, hardware and software provisioning, and user support. In addition, we handle various IT operations such as troubleshooting, upgrades, and compliance with organizational technology standards.
Our team is diverse and distributed across multiple global locations, ensuring round-the-clock support for different regions. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with experienced and dedicated IT professionals who are experts in various domains and possess extensive knowledge in technology and digital transformation.
The Role
- Solid background in systems administration.
- Strong Knowledge in installation and troubleshooting of Operating Systems (Windows, Mac and Linux).
- Strong HW/SW problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge in administration and configuration of AD, DNS, DHCP.
- Experience in virtualized environments.
- Familiarity with the fundamentals of Linux scripting languages.
- Knowledge in Networking.
- Ability to work independently.
- Good communication skills.
What you’ll bring
- 1 to 5 years in systems administration and IT support
- Managing day-to-day incidents/ critical issues of end users.
- Coordinating with different sub teams in IT for resolution.
- Evaluate, improve, and maintain the information security throughout the Linux infrastructure.
- Responsible for installing, configuring and maintaining the Linux servers and workstations
- Managing Audio and video conferencing (equipment setup, configuration and testing).
- Discussion with end users; proactive.
- Managing assets / encryption / Knowledge in Skype for business /VPN
