About the role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Integration and commissioning Engineer to support and lead the integration of Pixii’s battery energy storage products with a wide range of external systems and site installations. We are seeking a highly skilled Integration and Commissioning Engineer to lead the integration and deployment of Pixii’s cutting-edge energy storage solutions across India. You will work on both our small power modular systems and high-power utility-grade ranges. You will work with applications related to residential, commercial & industrial (C&I), and distribution system operator (DSO). The role requires extensive travel to project sites and customer offices across India The position is critical in ensuring seamless services for Pixii’s partners and customers, enhancing the reliability and usability of Pixii’s Battery Energy storage solutions.
Responsibilities
Integration
- Lead and guide OEMs and partner installers during design, integration, testing and validation of BESS solutions
- Integrate grid connection, inverters, batteries, energy meters, switchgears, solar PV, diesel gensets and controller from electrical, control and communication perspective.
Commissioning
- Lead and perform configuration, testing and commissioning of complete BESS systems ranging from few kW up to few MW, both onsite and remotely for residential, C&I, and utility applications.
Qualifications and Skills
- Hands-on experience working with BESS, Solar, UPS or other power conversion applications in a BESS OEM or an EPC company
- Experience with commissioning, FAT/SAT, or system testing.
- Knowledge of power electronics, power systems, renewable energy, grid integration principles.
- Understanding of energy storage applications in residential, C&I, and utility segments.
- Ability to read and interpret system architecture, technical specifications, SLDs, control schematics, communication maps, manuals, BOM, and layout drawings.
- Proficient in using electrical tools, measurement instruments and diagnostic software while working with PCS, batteries, control and communication.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve issues at site
Requirements
- B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Power Engineering, Energy Engineering, Power Electronics, Power Systems, Automation, Controls or a related field.· Experience with AC/DC systems, inverters, PLCs, batteries, and/or SCADA systems (preferred but not mandatory).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
- 3–5 Years in BESS, Solar, UPS or Power Electronics field as integration and commissioning role.
