Intern ‐ Recruitment

(BASED AT MAS ACTIVEWEAR)

The Activewear Value Stream delivers high-performance sportswear and athleisure solutions designed for technical functionality, durability and everyday versatility— serving sports, lifestyle and performance segments. With a strong focus on innovation, MAS is advancing wearable technology that tracks fitness and workout analytics while blending advanced sportswear with fashion and aesthetic appeal. 
Operating across Sri Lanka, Jordan and Indonesia, and with development centres in Sri Lanka and Canada, Activewear serves a global customer base that includes Nike, lululemon, Patagonia, Ralph Lauren and Gymshark. The Activewear product range offers diverse solutions such as Knit, Fleece, Tees, Woven, Sweaters, Engineered Knit.
As a unified platform, the Activewear Value Stream combines global scale, speed and technical expertise, positioning MAS as a trusted partner for innovative, performance and lifestyle apparel.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Travel across plants to assist with recruitment functions.
  • Assist in identifying and reviewing CVs for open roles within the division.
  • Contribute to employer branding efforts and assist with recruitment campaigns.
  • Support initiatives aimed at boosting internal applicant engagement through targeted programs.
  • Help in managing recruitment processes, preparing dashboards, and maintaining accurate databases and records.
  • Provide administrative assistance for recruitment events, including job fairs and open house sessions.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS 

  • Full or part professional qualification or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic understanding of recruitment processes would be advantageous. 
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to travel across all geographical areas.
