Own customer integration and technical queries from acknowledgement through resolution. Translate customer needs into technical requirements, troubleshoot APIs and product issues, identify root causes or workarounds, coordinate with Product, Engineering, QA, and Customer Experience, test fixes, document solutions, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical customers. The role requires strong technical understanding, analytical problem-solving, customer communication, and end-to-end ownership in a remote SaaS environment.

Stadium helps companies celebrate their people through group gifting, rewards, and recognition. Teams around the world use Stadium to send gifts, run recognition programs, and make their people feel valued, and they rely on it working smoothly with the tools they already use.

The role

You’re the person our customers talk to when they’re setting up Stadium, connecting it to their systems, or figuring out how to make something work.

You’ll jump on calls, understand what the customer is trying to achieve, and show them how to get there in Stadium. When something breaks, you’ll dig in, find out why, and either fix it yourself or work with our Engineering team until it’s resolved. Then you’ll explain it to the customer clearly and confidently.

This is a customer-facing role first. Your technical skills are how you solve problems, and your communication skills are how customers experience you.

What this role is, and what it isn’t

It is: customer calls, solution design within our product, configuring accounts and integrations, troubleshooting API and webhook issues, and owning problems through to resolution.

It isn’t: ERP implementation, middleware development (SAP PI/PO, CPI, MuleSoft, Boomi, etc.), or a backend engineering role. If you’re looking to go deeper into those platforms, this isn’t the right fit, and we’d rather tell you upfront.

RequirementsWhat you’ll do

Talk to customers

  • Lead calls with customers to understand their goals, answer technical and product questions, and recommend the best way to achieve what they need in Stadium.
  • Explain solutions, workarounds, limitations, and timelines in clear, simple language, whether you’re speaking with an HR manager or an IT admin.

Set things up

  • Configure customer accounts, workflows, and integrations in the Stadium platform.
  • Help customers connect Stadium with the tools they use, such as [HRIS platforms, SSO providers, Slack / Microsoft Teams, and our REST APIs and webhooks].

Solve problems

  • Investigate integration and product issues using API docs, request/response payloads, and logs to find the root cause.
  • Fix what you can directly. When you need Engineering, bring them a clear, well-investigated ticket instead of just passing it along.
  • Test and validate fixes before confirming resolution with the customer.

Own it end-to-end

  • Take customer issues from first reply to final resolution, following up across Engineering, Product, QA, and Customer Experience.
  • Spot requests our product can’t handle yet, and work with Product to decide what happens next.
  • Document solutions, common setups, and recurring requests so the whole team gets smarter.
What we’re looking for
  • 2–4 years in a customer-facing technical role at a SaaS company, such as technical support, implementation, solutions, or technical customer success. Most of your experience should involve speaking directly with customers.
  • Excellent spoken and written English. You can run a call confidently, handle a frustrated customer calmly, and write an email that needs no follow-up questions.
  • Solid working knowledge of APIs: REST, JSON, webhooks, authentication (API keys, OAuth, SSO), and reading logs. You’re comfortable testing an API call in Postman, but you don’t need to be a developer.
  • A natural troubleshooter. You enjoy figuring out why something isn’t working.
  • Ownership. You don’t let issues sit in someone else’s queue. You chase them to closure.
  • A B.Tech/B.E. or equivalent hands-on technical experience.
  • Flexibility to occasionally join customer calls across time zones.
Nice to have
  • Some scripting or SQL experience
  • Experience with HR tech, employee engagement, or rewards/recognition platforms
  • Experience with tools like [Zendesk / Intercom / Jira / Linear]
You’ll love this role if
  • You have a technical background but enjoy working with people more than writing code all day.
  • You like being the person who makes things make sense for others.
  • You get satisfaction from closing the loop: customer happy, issue solved, docs updated.

Benefits

At Stadium, your input matters, and we believe in creating a culture where innovation is encouraged. Join us in crafting the future of group gifting and recognition. Your adventure starts here!

  • Competitive salary based on skill set.
  • Fully remote role - work with talented teammates across the globe.
  • Flexible working hours and autonomy over your schedule.
  • 5-day work week for better work-life balance.
  • Team retreats and offsites to connect and recharge.
  • Meal vouchers and employee benefits (health insurance) support.
  • Internal learning tracks to grow into other areas of development.
  • Plenty of company swag and additional perks.
