Job Title- Institutional Cash and Trade Client Risk Management Product Owner, AVP

Location- Mumbai, India

Role Description:

The 1st Line of Defense (1 LoD) Client Risk Management function acts as a central support function within Institutional Cash and Trade (ICT) to ensure that ICT meets its internal and external commitments related to control standards.

Working closely with the ICT Accountable Client Owners (ACO), Divisional Control Office (DCO), Technology Data and Innovation (TDI), and Anti Financial Crime (AFC), the Client Risk Management Product Owner will support the delivery of automated controls in an efficient and effective manner as part of ICT’s 1LoD Control Automation Programme.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Ensure intime and high-quality delivery on individual milestones that are part of ICT’s regulatory commitments across the booking locations.
  • Supports the evolution of the Correspondent Banking Risk Appetite Statement and drives the delivery of Risk Metrics and Dashboards
  • Drive efficiency and effectiveness of 1 LoD financial crime risk controls specific to Correspondent Banking through consolidation and automation; implement control standards / governance in close co-operation with the FCRC Center of Excellence (COE) who is executing these controls.
  • Participates in global and local initiatives and projects.

Your skills and experience:

  • University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Technology, or other relevant fields and/or equivalent professional experience required.
  • 8+ Years of prior experience in Risk Management controls, Technology, or other related roles required, preferably with a focus on process optimization and automation.
  • Working with stakeholders to clarify ambiguous business requirements and collaborating with technology teams to rapidly build proof of concepts to refine ideas and deliver solutions.
  • Quality Assurance experience highly preferable.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, combined with a sense of risk awareness.
  • High diligence, accuracy, and the ability to deliver high quality results within tight deadlines.
  • Excellent team player with strong work ethics, combined with a strategic and proactive work approach, able to motivate others and work independently.
  • Fluent communication skills in written and spoken English required.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power Query and SQL
  • Familiarity with the below topics is a plus:
  • Agile ways of working and supporting tools such as JIRA and Confluence
  • Data Visualization / BI tools (e.g., Tableau)
  • Low/No-code tools such as Microsoft Power Platform
  • Microsoft Co-Pilot
