Infrastructure Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS.

• Manage and administer production environments for large-scale applications.

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.

• Configure, monitor, and optimize AWS services including compute, storage, networking, and database components.

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS DevOps services and Jenkins.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployments, and operational tasks using scripting and automation tools.

• Manage containerized workloads and Kubernetes/EKS clusters in production environments.

• Perform Linux and Windows server administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions using CloudWatch, Prometheus, and related tools.

• Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams to ensure efficient software delivery and operational excellence.

• Ensure infrastructure security, compliance, backup, and disaster recovery best practices.

• Manage source code repositories and version control workflows using Git.

• Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, networking, and application-related issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3-4 years of hands-on experience in Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering roles.

• Strong experience in designing, maintaining, and administering production environments for enterprise applications.

• Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Administration using AWS Console and AWS CLI.

• Good knowledge of AWS services, including: EC2 S3 IAM Route 53 ElasticSearch/OpenSearch ElastiCache DynamoDB Aurora Kinesis Lambda

• Experience implementing complex deployments using: AWS CloudFormation Terraform Ansible

• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure Automation tools such as: Ansible Chef Puppet

• Good understanding of Git and source code repository management.

• Hands-on experience with at least one CI/CD platform such as Jenkins.

• Experience working with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred).

• Strong scripting skills using Bash and/or PowerShell.

• Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows Server administration.

• Experience configuring monitoring and alerting solutions using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools.
