Head Of Finance

Job Overview

Uvation is seeking a strategic and hands-on Head of Finance to lead financial operations, governance, treasury, compliance, and business planning across a growing global organization. This role will serve as a key advisor to leadership, ensuring financial discipline, operational efficiency, risk management, and scalable growth.

The ideal candidate combines strong controllership, commercial finance, treasury, and strategic planning experience with the ability to support executive decision-making through financial insights, analytics, and governance.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Leadership

• Lead accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and treasury operations.
• Deliver accurate MIS, executive dashboards, and financial analysis to support business decisions.
• Drive profitability, cost optimization, working capital management, and financial planning initiatives.

Commercial & Strategic Finance

• Evaluate client contracts, SOWs, MSAs, partnerships, and new business initiatives for financial viability, profitability, risk, and ROI.
• Support pricing strategies, investment decisions, business expansion, and growth initiatives.
• Develop financial models, forecasts, business cases, and scenario analyses for leadership review.

Governance, Compliance & Risk

• Establish strong internal controls, audit processes, and compliance frameworks.
• Manage statutory audits, tax compliance, regulatory reporting, and corporate governance activities.
• Identify financial and operational risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Treasury, Banking & International Finance

• Manage banking relationships, treasury operations, liquidity planning, and foreign exchange exposure.
• Support multi-entity and international finance operations, including intercompany transactions and global compliance requirements.
• Partner with financial institutions, lenders, and advisors on funding, banking, and capital management activities.

Corporate Finance & Business Transformation

• Support fundraising, lender discussions, due diligence, mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, and corporate expansion initiatives.
• Prepare board reports, investor presentations, and executive-level financial reviews.
• Lead ERP, automation, reporting, and finance transformation initiatives to improve scalability and efficiency.

Leadership & Business Partnership

• Act as a trusted financial advisor to the CEO and leadership team.
• Partner with Sales, Operations, Delivery, HR, and Legal teams to improve financial performance and accountability.
• Build and mentor a high-performing finance function.

Qualifications

• CA, CPA, CMA/ICWA, MBA Finance, or equivalent.
• 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience.
• Experience in MSP, SaaS, IT Services, Technology, Telecom, or high-growth organizations preferred.
• Strong expertise in FP&A, financial reporting, treasury, internal controls, audits, and strategic finance.
• Experience with multi-entity operations, banking relationships, fundraising, board reporting, and business transformation initiatives is highly desirable.

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of IFRS, US GAAP, accounting standards, compliance, and corporate governance.
• Advanced financial modelling, forecasting, valuation, and analytical capabilities.
• Experience with ERP platforms such as NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Tableau, and modern financial reporting and analytics tools.
