Global Marketing Specialist - Turbomachinery Lifecycle Sustainability
Overview & Responsibilities
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The primary reason for this position is to achieve the following global strategic objectives
-
Identify and analyze customer needs for life cycle sustainability of installed process turbomachinery using remote monitoring technologies and programs and prepare development requirements in response to market demands.

Plan new remote monitoring services for mechanical rotating equipment (including process pumps, compressors and turbines) in the petrochemical industry/sustainability market, create development requirements, work closely with the development department for market introduction, and create and manage business plans.

Plan, negotiate, and lead the conclusion of strategic alliances/contracts with key customers, suppliers, system providers, and industry associations.

Develop and recommend revenue-based strategic business models for long-term business development

Understand market conditions, customer requirements, competitor behavior, threats and opportunities

Using the information and data obtained through the remote monitoring service, plan new service & support business, create development requests, and provide input to the development department.
BACKGROUND and EXPERIENCE
-
Technical degree with strong technical background, additional Marketing qualification preferred
-
Minimum 10 years in the turbomachinery industry, preferably in remote monitoring services for mechanical rotating equipment in customer-facing roles such as sales, projects, marketing, business development etc.

Exposure to oil & gas sectors, preferably at an international level, will be an advantage

Proven and demonstrable kills in market analysis and strategic planning

Ability to think outside-the-box and propose result-oriented innovative and creative approaches
-
Strong fact-based decision-making capability with clear conclusions and recommendations
-
Excellent online & offline presentation skills - visual and verbal - able to highlight details concisely

Knowledge of Elliott and/or competitor products & markets, new and after-market is an advantage
-
Experience of interaction at various levels of internal & external cross-functional teams

Initiate novel strategies in conjunction with other business units
Prepare strategic business development plans
Managing aftermarket knowledge - developments, trends, competitive environment, regulatory changes, and media directions
Research on international markets, governments, educational systems/institutions, prospective partners etc.
Analysis of market segment and customer research data to identify and prioritize market trends, new applications, new customers, strategic alliances, strategic business partnerships and potential mergers and acquisitions in the aftermarket business
