Müller's Solutions is seeking a GCP DevOps Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure and DevOps practices. Your expertise will drive the continuous improvement of our development and deployment processes, ensuring high availability and scalability of applications hosted on GCP. You will work closely with development, operational, and security teams to implement CI/CD pipelines, manage cloud resources, and enhance application performance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and manage GCP infrastructure components, including virtual machines, storage solutions, Kubernetes, and serverless functions.
  • Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Google Cloud Build.
  • Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure reliability and security of cloud-based applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline development workflows and enhance operational efficiencies.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and management through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Google Deployment Manager.
  • Perform cost optimization analyses and resource allocation planning for GCP services.
  • Support incident management processes and provide technical guidance to resolve deployment and operational issues.
  • Continuously evaluate new cloud technologies and services to enhance our GCP environment.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Degree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure management and DevOps practices, with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Google Cloud services (e.g., GCE, GKE, BigQuery, Cloud Functions), CI/CD tools, and container orchestration (Kubernetes). Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or similar tools is highly desirable.
  • Additional Skills: Strong experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation tasks. Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Stackdriver, Prometheus) and security best practices in cloud environments. Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps culture.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer or Google Cloud Architect are a plus.
  • Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex systems and provide solutions quickly.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • A passion for cloud technologies and keeping up-to-date with industry trends.
