Job Summary
CONVO is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our fast-paced team, where you’ll build and harden features on an enterprise trade promotion and sales planning platform. You’ll work across .NET, JavaScript, and SQL Server, own cross-layer bugs end to end, keep customer extensions aligned with the core product, and support feature-flagged delivery via Azure DevOps. Growing exposure to AI-assisted mass-operation tooling is a plus.
Responsibilities- Deliver promotion and planning features (UI ↔ services ↔ SQL/config)
- Debug multi-tier regressions (grids, formulas, copy flows, document lock/state)
- Maintain customer customizations; migrate custom behavior into standard product where possible
- Improve SQL/list performance and own safe schema/config changes
- Write tests; fix CI/pipeline and branch-alignment failures
- Review PRs, write clear RCAs, collaborate with product/QA on flagged releases
- Strong C# /.NET and JavaScript (complex enterprise UI)
- Solid SQL Server (views, plans, migrations, slow-query debugging)
- Multi-tier debugging across UI, APIs, and database
- Git + Azure DevOps (work items, PRs, pipelines)
- Unit/integration testing discipline
- TPM / CPG / retail planning domain experience
- Feature flags, multi-branch release processes
- React/TypeScript, Azure, gRPC
- Interest in AI agents / tool orchestration
- Clear written RCA, cross-stack ownership, pragmatic fix-vs-standardize judgment, calm under production pressure
