Frontend Architect – Web Platform & Integrations

We are looking for a Frontend Architect to lead the design and evolution of our web platforms and frontend integrations. This role is intended for an experienced frontend leader with deep expertise in React and modern frontend development, who uses Next.js as a frontend framework to deliver scalable, high-performance applications. 

The Frontend Architect will define frontend architecture standards, guide teams working on complex, content- and commerce-driven applications, and ensure consistent, reliable integrations across multiple enterprise platforms. The role combines hands-on technical work with architectural leadership and close collaboration across engineering, platform, and product teams. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Own and evolve the overall frontend architecture for web platforms 

• Define standards and best practices for React, TypeScript, and frontend development 

• Guide teams on effective use of Next.js for routing, rendering, caching, and performance 

• Design scalable frontend patterns for content, commerce, and personalization use cases 

• Establish reusable component and integration patterns across teams 

• Lead frontend integrations with headless CMS platforms, ecommerce systems, and third-party services 

• Provide architectural guidance for integrations with ecommerce platforms such as Salesforce and similar solutions 

• Support integrations with personalization and customer data platforms to enable targeted experiences 

• Partner with backend and platform teams on API design and consumption, including GraphQL and REST 

• Contribute to observability and monitoring strategies, including frontend integration with Elastic, OpenTelemetry, or similar platforms 

• Identify and address frontend performance, reliability, and integration risks 

• Review technical designs and code to ensure architectural consistency and quality 

• Mentor engineers and support the adoption of frontend standards across teams 

Required Skills and Experience 

• Extensive experience building and architecting applications with React 

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript 

• Deep understanding of core frontend concepts, including browser behavior, rendering, and CSS 

• Proven experience using Next.js as a frontend framework (SSR, SSG, ISR) 

• Experience deploying and operating frontend applications on cloud and hosting platforms such as Azure, Vercel, Netlify, or similar 

• Hands-on experience integrating headless CMS platforms 

• Experience with ecommerce platforms and payment gateways 

• Experience designing and supporting complex frontend integrations with ecommerce and enterprise systems 

• Strong working knowledge of GraphQL and REST APIs 

• Experience supporting high-traffic, performance-sensitive web platforms 

Nice to Have 

• Experience with Sitecore CMS 

• Exposure to Sitecore Personalize & CDP, or analytics platforms 

• Familiarity with observability, logging, and tracing tools, including Elastic and OpenTelemetry 

• Experience contributing to or leading design systems 

• Background in modernizing legacy or multi-platform web architectures 

Leadership and Collaboration 

• Comfortable owning frontend architecture and influencing technical direction 

• Able to work effectively with product, design, backend, and platform teams 

• Clear communicator who can explain technical decisions to varied audiences 

• Enjoys mentoring engineers and promoting best practices 

• Open to learning new tools and adapting architecture as platforms evolve

Pay Range 3,897,936 - 5,846,904 INR

The salary range shown reflects the company's good faith full target range for this position at the time of posting. Compensation decisions are based on factors including geographic location, experience, skills, education, and business needs. While the full range is posted for transparency, offers are typically made within the lower to middle portion of the range.
