The QA Engineer will design and execute test cases for Fluent Commerce OMS, perform functional and integration testing, validate workflows, and support UAT preparation.
We are seeking a QA Engineer with strong experience in Fluent Commerce Order Management System (OMS) to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of complex omnichannel order flows. The role focuses on functional, integration, and end-to-end testing across OMS, eCommerce platforms, ERP, WMS, and logistics systems, supporting enterprise-scale retail and commerce transformations
Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and maintain test cases and test scenarios for Fluent Commerce OMS covering order lifecycle, fulfilment, inventory, sourcing, returns, and cancellations
- Perform functional, regression, integration (SIT), and end-to-end testing across OMS and integrated systems
- Validate business workflows such as Click & Collect, Ship-from-Store, Home Delivery, Split Orders, and Returns.
- Execute API testing for REST and GraphQL services using tools such as Postman (or equivalent)
- Validate event-driven flows, webhooks, and asynchronous integrations between Fluent OMS and external platforms (eCommerce, ERP, WMS, payment, logistics)
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using tools such as JIRA (or similar)
- Provide clear test reports, defect analysis, and quality status to project stakeholders
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, solution architects, and product owners in Agile/Scrum environments
- Support UAT preparation and execution, including business scenario validation and sign-off
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, test coverage, and release quality
Profile
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in IT or Computer Science.
- 5+ years of experience in QA / Testing, with strong exposure to Order Management Systems (OMS)
- Hands-on experience with Fluent Commerce OMS (mandatory)
- Strong understanding of eCommerce and OMS concepts:
- Order lifecycle
- Fulfilment orchestration
- Inventory & Sourcing Logic
- Returns & Exchanges
- Experience in API testing (REST / GraphQL)
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Zephyr)
- Exposure to test automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, or similar)
- Experience working on enterprise retail or omnichannel commerce projects
- Understanding of Agile / Scrum delivery models
- Familiarity with performance or non-functional testing in OMS environments.
