The Financial Project Controller ensures project P&L and BS correctness according to business reality, IFRS, internal policies and other regulations. Provides project financial insight to PMs, business, finance, audit, accounting and other stakeholders. Manages end to end project controlling for customer projects for all BG’s, being main point of contact for project controlling matters with all stakeholders. Ensures compliance of the related activities with Nokia's accounting principles, internal controls policies, and reporting procedures as well as with external rules and regulations.
ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end accounting controlling for customer projects, being the main point of contact for project accounting matters with all stakeholders.
Responsible for setting up and maintaining projects in the ERP system, support PM/PMO organization to understand the accounting impacts in the project actuals and forecast.
Assess changes in accounting treatment of projects in execution phase and prepares material for approval.
Ensure project adherence to Revenue Recognition Board decisions.
Responsible for the correctness of the actual reporting of sales, cost and balance sheet items for the assigned projects.
Responsible to monitor and control the Project balance sheet and perform Netting exercise.
Contribute in order backlog verification for the assigned project(s).
Ensure compliance with Nokia accounting principles, reporting guidelines, processes, tools and internal controls within the project.
Provide information to Internal and external auditors on project financials.
Master's degree in finance or economics or related discipline.
At least 6+ years of professional experience in Controlling at international company (Telecommunication industry is advantage)
Strong knowledge and experience in Financial Accounting, Analysis and Controlling.
Fluent command of business English (both written and spoken).
Outstanding team player with excellent networking, communication skills having service oriented, remarkably pro- active mindset.
Ability to work across boundaries and in virtual/cross-functional teams.
Good presentation skills in both formal and informal settings & ability to interact with financial service recipients.
