Executive ‐ Sustainable Business

This role ensures support for the planning, coordination, administration, and reporting of ESG, circularity, accessibility, and community development initiatives by ensuring timely execution of activities, accurate data management, effective stakeholder engagement, and compliance with documentation and reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Eco Go Beyond Champions to review and approve debit note requests received through the system and collect supporting proof documents.
- Participate in all programme meetings and maintain documentation of decisions.
- Handle documentation related to seed fund distribution, including receipt collection and record maintenance.
- Collecting student data forms and other programme-related documentation including data entering related to student and school information.
- Coordinate and process student and school award-related payments and supporting documentation.
- Support the organization and coordination of project related events.
- Arrange monthly meetings with Go Beyond Champions on project Progress.
- Coordinate with the Employers’ Federation of Ceylon (EFC) on accessibility audits across SBUs related to transport-related payments and pending audit payments to ensure timely settlement.
- Follow up EFC to obtain audit reports, recommendations, and related documentation on time.
- Coordinate review meetings between EFC and SBUs to discuss audit findings and action plans.
- Support the organization and coordination of project related events.
- Arrange meetings with divisional leads and PWD champions on Persons with Disabilities initiatives and data management.
- Participate at the group level Social Sustainability meetings, including assistance for regular project updates, and content development.
- Establish key relationships and coordination with internal and external stakeholders related to social sustainability.
- Support the implementation of ISO 14064 audit for the entire group.
- Development of the climate management strategy.
- Support the development of Environmental Sustainability related programs to achieve the 100% Value Enhancement of all types of waste.
- Establish key working relationships with the Lean, Innovation and Automation teams in order to ensure the Sustainability team embraces a culture of lean thinking and behaviour in line with MOS guidelines whilst, working closely with them to establish best practices of the Company along with environmental sustainability initiatives across all SBUs.
- Support the implementation of programmes aligned with ISO 14064, Higg Index, and the MAS Calibration Tool.
- Assist in monitoring progress against environmental standards and internal sustainability requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sustainability, Environmental Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of relevant industry experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good analytical and interpretation skills.
- Basic project management skills.
