The ETL Developer is responsible for creating ETL packages, managing SQL databases, performance tuning, and automating data processes while ensuring data integrity and quality.
This is a remote position.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time.
- Provide suggestions for solutions.
- Create ETL packages. (Mandatory on SSIS, Knowledge of other ETL is good to have).
- Experience with complicated SSIS Package coding and maintenance.
- Participate in ongoing DW/BI performance tuning activities.
- Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes.
- Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement.
- Provide support for critical production systems as required.
- Maintaining code versioning and support code deployments.
- Perform scheduled maintenance and support deployment activities as required.
- Manage SQL Databases but not limited and can extend to NoSQL/Cloud Database as applicable.
- Preserve data integrity.
- Maintains contemporary knowledge of industry trends, concepts, and techniques.
- Experience in creation of SQL Tables, Views, MV’s, Stored Procedures and working on complex T- SQL statements.

Skills & Certifications:
- Expert knowledge in traditional relational database concepts and design.
- Fluent in SQL
- Database design and query optimization.
- Write and debug stored procedures and ability in advanced SQL operations.
- Advanced query, join operation, and aggregate.
- Knowledge of data warehousing.
- Automate manual data tasks through workflows and ETL packages.
- Should possess skill to maintain, monitor, troubleshoot daily jobs using SQL Server Agent.
- Administrate application and server environments.
- Analyze data quality and make recommendations for data preparation.
- Strong ability to communicate both verbally and in writing, especially with technical analysis (including understanding internal documents).
- Experience with data manipulation, data engineering, and working with large data sets.
