Job Description:
Role Overview:
- Collecting and consolidating disclosure data from business teams
- Formatting and preparing disclosures
- Performing reconciliations between internal reports and external disclosure packs
- Strong understanding of risk and control frameworks (SOX, IRR, NFR, 1LOD/2LOD).
- Experience designing, testing, and enhancing end-to-end controls.
- Ability to conduct assurance, issue management, and remediation.
- Documenting business and functional requirements
- Experience with financial close processes, journal entries, reconciliation ownership, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Familiarity with regulatory reporting process mapping and controls documentation
- Experience in product ownership, backlog prioritisation, and agile squad delivery
- Familiarity with ESG reporting standards (ISSB, IFRS S1/S2, TCFD, SASB) and ESG policy interpretation
- Experience in programme governance (plan/RAID/steerco) for disclosure or ESG delivery
- Exposure to materiality assessments and ESG disclosure decisioning processes
Desirable:
Provides subject matter expertise and judgement to interpret, assess, and resolve complex, ambiguous, or emerging financial and regulatory disclosure requirements (e.g. Pillar 3, Annual Reporting, ESG disclosures), where established procedures or precedents may not exist
