A Day in the LifeAs an Engineering Manager - Software Test Automation & Quality Engineering, you will lead a team responsible for designing, developing, and deploying software quality solutions that support medical device software, firmware, and embedded systems. You will drive the adoption of modern automation frameworks, AI-enabled testing approaches, and engineering best practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and reliable solutions.
You will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to manage execution, resource planning, technical excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives while fostering a high-performing and inclusive team environment.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Lead and manage a team of software quality and test automation professionals.
• Drive the development and implementation of automated testing solutions for software, firmware, embedded systems, and related applications.
• Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of projects while managing scope, timelines, quality, and resources.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, product, quality, and program teams to support product development and release activities.
• Establish and continuously improve software quality processes, automation frameworks, and engineering practices.
• Support the adoption of AI-enabled testing methodologies and modern automation technologies.
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members through goal setting, performance management, and career development planning.
• Ensure compliance with applicable quality, regulatory, and organizational standards.
• Drive operational excellence through data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage stakeholder communications and influence outcomes across multiple teams and functions.

Required Knowledge and Experience: 

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant professional experience with demonstrated experience in software engineering, software quality, test automation, or related technical domains.
• Proven experience leading technical teams and delivering complex projects in a cross-functional environment.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), software testing, and quality engineering practices.
• Experience with automation frameworks, test strategy development, and quality processes.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  Nice to Haves:
• Advanced degree in a relevant technical field.
• Experience with medical device, healthcare, regulated industry, or safety-critical software development environments.
• Experience with cloud-based applications, embedded systems, firmware testing, or AI-driven quality engineering solutions.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and modern DevOps practices.

• Demonstrated success in building and developing high-performing engineering teams.
