Enterprise SaaS - Oracle - Workday - Functional - Business Analysis
We are looking for a highly skilled Workday HCM Lead who can drive end‑to‑end HR systems initiatives, manage customer interactions, and guide a team toward operational excellence. The ideal candidate must have strong Workday HCM functional expertise, excellent communication skills, proven client‑handling experience, and the ability to lead, mentor, and manage a team effectively.
The candidate should also be proactive, demonstrate ownership, and take initiative in improving processes and delivering high‑quality outcomes.
Workday HCM Expertise
- Lead Workday HCM functional activities, including configuration, enhancements, troubleshooting, and support.
- Provide guidance on Workday modules and best practices to ensure solution accuracy and stability.
- Perform hands‑on Workday reporting, including advanced, matrix, and composite reports to support business needs.
- Leverage Workday knowledge to guide the team and monitor their progress effectively.
Client Interaction & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring smooth communication and strong relationships.
- Understand customer requirements, translate them into actionable plans, and ensure timely delivery.
- Manage escalations and provide strategic solutions to customer needs.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor a team of Workday analysts/associates.
- Assign work, track performance, and provide regular feedback to team members.
- Support capacity planning, workload distribution, and team development initiatives.
Operational Excellence
- Take initiative to identify gaps, propose improvements, and drive process optimization.
- Ensure adherence to SLAs, quality benchmarks, and reporting standards.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support HR technology initiatives and ad‑hoc business needs.
Reporting & Analytics
- Build and review Workday reports for operations, compliance, and management insights.
- Use Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, Power Query, dashboards, etc.) to analyze and present data.
- Support leadership with performance tracking, dashboards, and reporting automation.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong hands‑on experience in Workday HCM (multiple modules preferred).
- Experience in Workday reporting (advanced reports, calculated fields, dashboards, BIRT added advantage).
- Proven experience in client handling and stakeholder management.
- Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written.
- Minimum [3 years] of team‑handling/leadership experience.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Advanced Excel.
- Ability to work independently, take initiatives, and deliver results under minimal supervision.
