You will:

Establish goals and expectations for team members that align with company policies and standards

Coach and mentor team members to help identify and achieve career growth opportunities

Collaborate with Product and Engineering leadership to establish a team charter with achievable goals and strategy that align with the company objectives

Plan, prioritize, and coordinate development activities and delivery of customer value with other business functions including Support, Customer Success, and Product.

Monitor progress, identify challenges, and recommend adjustments to the plan based on actionable engineering metrics
-
Foster an environment that enables the team to thrive and achieve results while maintaining a healthy work-life balance

Be accountable for outcomes and culture of the team

Possess a basic understanding of the architectural and technical foundations of your area of ownership

Advocate to maintain and advance Technical Excellence, e.g. Observability, Scalability, and Stability

Essential Requirements -
Location - Bangalore

Experience mentoring team members in their professional growth
-
Experience with agile and lean development practices, metrics driven governance
-
Proven track record of delivering complex, large-scale event driven systems, microservices or distributed systems
-
Experience with test automation, CI/CD, and DevOps principles as core deliverables
-
Experience developing and maintaining large scale software systems in production using Java and opensource technologies.

Written and verbal communication skills, including one on ones with team members, and asynchronous communication with other teams.
-
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Desirable Requirements
-
12+ years experience in software development
-
2+ years experience in people leadership
-
Familiarity with streaming technologies such as Kafka, Pulsar or similar platforms
-
Familiarity with Integration platforms, Application and Data Integration.

Experience in event-driven architectures and stream processing platforms here.
