Roles and Responsibilities:
Undertake technology assessment studies with regard to energy and environmental performance for appliances in different consumer categories such as domestic, commercial, industries, etc.
- Perform rigorous quantitative and qualitative research.
- Assisting project delivery on specific deliverables/engagements assigned by the Supervisor, within a stipulated timeline, stretching when needed
Required skills and qualifications:
- Education: Graduate Engineer from a recognized University or Institition in Electrical/Mechanical/Production/Instrument/Environmental engineering. BEE Certified Energy Auditors/Managers(Desirable).
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in the field of energy efficiency, standard/certification development , emission reduction or climate change. Experience in Standards & Labelling will be preferred.
- Sound knowledge of Energy efficiency, Energy Efficient Technologies in products/appliances/industries , etc.
- Sound knowledge of standard/certification development of appliances.
- Experience in emission reduction or climate change in industries/appliances.
- Sound knowledge of data collection , evaluation and analysis using statistical tools.
- Experience in policy development and advocacy in energy or power sector.
- Experience working with diverse stakeholders like government bodies , manufacturers , associations etc.
- Ability to handle several deliverables and ensuring high quality outputs.
- Demonstrate expertise in writing reports, making presentations, number-crunching & graphics/visualization.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Good communication skills (oral and written) in English.
