About us
As a Principle Software Engineer , you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software based on the customer’s business goals, needs and general business environment. You will work with product management, other engineering teams, customer success and support on developing cutting edge new product features and enhancements across various areas of Boomi offerings.
You will be are responsible for driving the direction of engineering projects, providing technical leadership, mentoring team members, and ensuring projects meet customer, company, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Feature/Epic lead: Being able to lead the delivery of a feature/epic from idea to reality
- Programming: Write robust, efficient, and scalable code in Python .NET or Java
- Cloud Platforms: Leverage AWS
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and direction for projects, including research, development, and design.
- Strategic Roadmap: Help develop and implement strategic roadmaps for engineering initiatives.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Problem Solving: Identify and solve complex technical problems, ensuring efficient and effective project execution.
- Communication: Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Key Skills:
- Deep Technical Knowledge: A strong understanding of relevant technologies, methodologies, and engineering principles.
- Leadership and Mentorship: Ability to lead and motivate teams, providing guidance and support to junior engineers.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and solve complex technical challenges.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement strategic plans and roadmaps for engineering initiatives.
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Process Improvement: Ability to identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience as a senior level engineer or achitect
- Strong programming skills in .NETor Java.
- Experience working with both relational databases(MySQL) and NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with Cloud platforms such as AWS (e.g., S3, ECS, CDK)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
