Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Selenium with Java for Capital Markets applications.
Create and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing.
Perform API automation testing using tools such as Postman / Rest Assured.
Validate end‑to‑end workflows across trading, clearing, settlement, risk, or reference data systems.
Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and define automation strategies.
Ensure test coverage, quality metrics, and defect tracking are maintained throughout the SDLC/STLC.
Support CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated tests into build and deployment workflows.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide continuous feedback on quality and release readiness.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
Strong hands‑on experience with Selenium Automation using Java
Experience with TestNG / JUnit / Cucumber, Maven/Gradle
Solid understanding of Automation Framework Design (Hybrid / BDD / Data‑Driven)
Hands‑on API testing and automation (REST services, JSON, CRUD operations)
Good understanding of SQL for backend validation
Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
Domain Expertise
Strong experience in Capital Markets / Investment Banking applications such as:
Trade lifecycle (Front‑Office, Mid‑Office, Back‑Office)
Securities processing, Clearing & Settlement
Risk, Pricing, or Reference Data systems
Preferred Qualifications
ISTQB certification or equivalent QA certification
Exposure to performance testing tools (good to have)
Experience working in large‑scale BFSI platforms
Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, or similar
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Ability to collaborate effectively across global teams
Good communication skills with business and technical stakeholders
Quality mindset with attention to detail and continuous improvement
