Role Summary
The Salesforce Product Owner is responsible for owning, governing, and operating the business aspects related to the global Salesforce platform. This role ensures disciplined decision-making, clear demand prioritisation, and tight alignment across regions, practices, and technology—translating business intent into scalable, executable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Global Operating Model & Governance
- Own and evolve the global steering group operating model, ensuring consistent adoption and alignment across all regions and practices.
- Lead the global steering cadence with rigor, driving decisions, risks, and actions through to resolution.
- Coordinate global-level decision-making and maintain a single, trusted source of truth across markets.
- Provide leadership with transparent, unfiltered visibility into issues, blockers, risks, and trade-offs.
Demand Management & Prioritisation
- Own the global demand management process, structuring, filtering, and sequencing requests before they enter Technology delivery.
- Facilitate demand intake across regions and practices, eliminating noise and clarifying true business needs.
- Assess downstream impacts of proposed changes across markets, practices, data, processes, and technology.
- Surface cross-market interdependencies early, preventing duplication, conflict, or misaligned initiatives.
Business–Technology Integration
- Act as the connective tissue between business strategy and technology execution, translating priorities into clear, actionable delivery expectations.
- Ensure system and process integration across the growth ecosystem, with a strong focus on scalability and reuse.
- Partner closely with Technology to align demand with available capacity, constraints, dependencies, and release plans.
Sales & Growth Enablement
- Drive global sales process optimisation to improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability.
- Own and mature the Global Solutions Request (GSR) and demand management processes.
- Oversee Salesforce workflow automation, user interfaces, and release coordination to enable growth teams.
- Ensure solutions are designed with end-to-end usability, adoption, and operational impact in mind.
Continuity & Momentum
- Maintain institutional knowledge and historical context to prevent rework and ensure continuity across leadership changes and programme phases.
- Protect momentum by anticipating risks, resolving dependencies, and keeping complex, interlocking initiatives aligned.
