Director, Salesforce Lead

Role Overview:
Responsible for the overall strategic direction and management of OTIS corporate Platform Governance and administration as well as Software Development, Maintenance, and strategy pertinent to the Salesforce. The role is remote, with a preference for an individual based in Bangalore India.
On a typical day you will:
- Establish, maintain, and promote Software Development and Maintenance disciplines through the development of effective standards and governance and monitor methodology, tools, templates, standards, policies, and procedures as well as define quality assurance processes in the enterprise Salesforce applications and environment.
- Drive the adoption of standard work processes, application functionality, compliance/security guidelines, integration design, and data standards
- Manage and oversight of Salesforce licenses, cost allocations, Salesforce purchase orders, invoices, and requisitions.
- Defines and enables architectural platform models to support complex and worldwide business organizations as well as lead the sandbox environment management.
- Establish and lead a group of Salesforce architect(s), developers, consultant(s), and administrators focusing on the Salesforce platform end-to-end and leveraging the full depth and expertise of the Salesforce products and technical solutions.
- Define, implement, and maintain global security model and lead the administration of user and license management, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, sharing rules
- • Partner with Salesforce and implementation partners to enable a consistent methodology that enables sustained user adoption at a global scale.
- Lead and manage global solutions release window planning and overall release cycle
- Establish and maintain robust governance, voice of the customer program, and liaise with Salesforce and Partners to find solutions that best solve the business problems and provide a best-in-class user experience.
What You Will Need to be Successful:
- Over all 12+ years of progressive work-related experience with demonstrated proficiency in multiple disciplines, technologies, or processes related to the position and demonstrated experience in establishing organizational structure and allocation of duties through management of subordinate teams.
- Minimum 5+ years of demonstrated experience as Salesforce Certified Technical Architect / Salesforce Certified Solutions Architect and/or Salesforce Certified Developer
- Experience with Salesforce licenses structures and end-to-end license management process, as well as effective vendor management
- Proven experience in Salesforce platform, Integrations, Automation features, Field Service, and Service cloud.
- Demonstrated project management experience in organizing, planning, and executing large-scale projects from conception through implementation.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in designing and developing enterprise-grade software.
- Experience with source control management systems and continuous integration/deployment
- Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills with ability to take highly technical information and present to all levels of management, technical staff, and business/professional contacts. Strong consulting and interpersonal skills.
- Change Agent capable of motivating and inspiring a team.
- Analytical abilities, result-focused, action-oriented, and ability to work effectively with customers and IT Leaders.
- Ability to learn quickly and thoroughly in rapidly changing conditions.
- Demonstrated proficiency in leading and developing multi-disciplined work teams in the development, implementation, and maintenance of large-scale integrated systems across multiple hardware and software platforms
- Strong technical knowledge of computer languages (including information management systems), applications, operating systems, terminology, communications, networks, and hardware capabilities
- Demonstrated knowledge of system integration issues between diverse platforms.
