Our People and Culture engagement model is built on a regional support foundation with senior-level business partners engaging with our executive leadership team on strategic people and culture matters. The Director, People & Culture Business Partner will work directly with the centers of excellence – talent, rewards, and our P&C service center - MyP&C, for the implementation and execution of the people strategy.
We are seeking a strategic Director, People & Culture Business Partner Lead - India based in the national capital region, India to accomplish the people and culture outcomes for the India region by working very closely with the regional leaders and by providing leadership to the people and culture business partners in the region.

  • Provides P&C leadership across strategic initiatives by partnering with leaders to examine the people impact of exploring new business opportunities or creating existing efficiencies/growth plans for the India region.  

  • Acts as a strategic business partner to leadership focused on a transformational talent agenda including performance management and designed to attract, develop, and retain the best talent in the industry for our India operations.

  • Leverage data and people success analytics to assess trends, forecast workforce needs, and influence strategic decision-making for India's needs.

  • Works in collaboration and consultation with BP’s that support Executive leaders with their teams in India to ensure the talent agenda and reward outcomes are uniformly applied in India.

  • As India continues to provide cost arbitrage to the Enterprise, the role provides proactive and strategic guidance and support for organizational planning and development and change management initiatives to build and grow teams in the region.

  • Partner and seek support from the talent and reward COEs to solve people's problems in the region that require support from the COE.

  • Acts as a trusted advisor working with leaders on their succession plans at multiple levels within the business; anticipates workforce issues and is proactive in developing plans to ensure effective workforce continuity.

  • Bring awareness of competitive environments especially the GCC environment and market trends to inspire progressive initiatives.

  • Lead the P&C Business Partnering Team in India, and partner with the India Leadership Team.

What We're Looking For

  • At least 15 years of relevant experience in human resources generalist/ business partner or similar role.

  • Experience in India region and a global environment with a multinational company with multiple stakeholders.  Working knowledge of laws and regulations of the region with a proven ability to manage executive-level partnerships across multiple functions in a global organization.  

  • Strong knowledge of generalist human resources best practices and/or expert knowledge in one or more human resources functional areas.

  • Strong business acumen: knowledge of business strategy, and key financial and business drivers.

  • Able to link people initiatives to business needs.

  • Commercial acumen to deliver thought leadership to local and global businesses.

  • Ability to develop and implement HR programs and procedures.

  • Excellent organizational skills, including an ability to manage multiple projects to tight deadlines.

  • Relationship management and influencing skills.
