• Lead and mentor the data engineering team, fostering technical growth and collaboration

• Architect, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure (Google Cloud preferred)

• Manage and build new technical data products for client reporting and cross-departmental collaboration.

• Maintain and improve existing our existing client data infrastructure and reporting product, the Flight Plan.

• Design and implement data models, ETL processes, microservices, and data warehousing solutions

• Ensure data quality, governance, and security best practices across all platforms

• Optimize data processing for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness

• Use AI and automation to optimize data engineering workflows

• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver robust data and AI solutions

• Oversee data integration from multiple internal and external sources

• Recruit, onboard, and develop top data engineering talent

• Monitor and report on data platform health, performance, and KPIs

• Stay current with industry trends to guide long-term data strategy and innovation

Experience

• 7+ years building and scaling data pipelines in complex environments

• Proficient in Python and modern data engineering frameworks

• Strong experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud preferred)

• Proven track record in architecting and optimizing ETL processes and data warehouses

• Experience leading and mentoring data engineering teams

• Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance best practices

• Experience in the advertising or marketing industry is a plus

• Excellent collaboration skills with cross-functional technical and business teams
