Digital Marketing Specialist

About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Specialist to drive our global marketing engine. The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in SEM (paid acquisition and campaign optimization), SEO, and GEO with the ability to adapt developer-focused content for multiple platforms. This role will own the execution and performance of paid search campaigns across Google Ads and other advertising platforms, while also supporting SEO/GEO initiatives to maximize digital visibility and growth. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of managing advertising budgets, improving conversion rates, and driving measurable ROI through data-driven marketing programs. You have 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS—specifically in real-time communications (RTC) or other developer-focused technologies. You are a proactive strategist who not only executes tasks but also anticipates market shifts and shapes the campaign roadmap.
This role requires a forward-thinking professional who will work very closely with Growth, Field, and Product Marketing to ensure all campaigns are executed, tracked, and optimized for the best possible outcomes. You are highly detail-oriented and expected to manage campaigns with a focus on strategic alignment and performance.
Key Responsibilities- SEM & Paid Acquisition: Lead the execution and optimization of paid search campaigns across Google Ads and other advertising platforms, driving qualified pipeline, conversions, revenue growth, and measurable ROI
- Performance Marketing: Design, launch, and optimize global demand generation campaigns across LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Reddit, developer communities, and other paid channels to maximize pipeline growth and marketing efficiency.
- Full-Funnel SEO-SEM-GEO: Lead the strategy, performing keyword research and optimizing content for both traditional and generative search engines
- Integrated Campaign Support: Work in lockstep with Growth, Content, and Product Marketing to support regional and global initiatives, ensuring every campaign is tracked and optimized for maximum ROI
- Copywriting & Channel Execution: Leverage our master content calendar and assets to strategically adapt and write high-impact copy for social posts, paid ads, and digital channels
- AI-Powered Optimization: Leverage AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Perplexity, Surfer SEO) to scale production and optimize existing assets while ensuring high quality and creativity
- Analytics & Iteration: Own campaign analysis, reporting, experimentation, and performance optimization using data-driven decision-making. Monitor KPIs, perform A/B testing, and pivot strategies based on real-time performance data
- Brand Alignment: Enforce brand tone and voice consistency across all digital channels
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- 5–7 years of experience in Digital Marketing, including 3+ years of hands-on experience managing Google Ads and paid search campaigns, specifically in full-time roles with US-based software companies
- Strong understanding of campaign optimization, bidding strategies, conversion tracking, attribution, and performance measurement
- Experience with Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, Google Ads, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and similar marketing analytics and SEO tools
- Proficiency in A/B testing, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and landing page optimization
- Experience managing LinkedIn Ads, Reddit Ads, Microsoft Ads, or other paid acquisition channels is a plus
- Demonstrated success improving CPA, ROAS, conversion rates, or pipeline generation through paid acquisition programs
- Developer marketing experience engaging with technical communities on Reddit, Stack Overflow, or GitHub
- Demonstrated expertise using AI tools to ideate, edit, and optimize content
- Ability to maintain a working schedule that provides at least 3–4 hours of overlap with the US Pacific Time (PT) business day for synchronous collaboration
- Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to distill complex topics into accessible content
- Experience managing contributors (in-house or freelance) and collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Campaign Types: Experience with different campaign types such as P-Max, AI-Max, DemandGen, etc.
- Ads: LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Ads Manager, GA4
- Analytics: Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar, or equivalent platforms
- AI-Assisted Workflow: Proficiency in using AI tools for content ideation, data analysis, and creative versioning to 10x your output
- Industry Knowledge: Previous experience with Real-Time Communications (RTC) or Conversational AI platforms
- Certifications: Google Ads Certification a plus
