Responsibilities include Terraform and Ansible automation, CI/CD support, AWS account and networking configuration, containerized workloads on Amazon ECS, security and monitoring alignment, troubleshooting, documentation, and collaboration with application and central cloud teams.

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our organization. This role supports the design, implementation, and operation of cloud infrastructure and delivery pipelines for modern, cloud-native digital products, with a primary focus on AWS. You will work closely with application engineers, IoT integration engineers, and the central cloud team to ensure that product environments are built and operated in alignment with enterprise cloud standards, security requirements, and AWS best practices. This role emphasizes infrastructure automation, developer enablement, and operational excellence, rather than standalone platform ownership.
Key Responsibilities
As a Cloud Engineer, you will:
- Design and support AWS-based infrastructure for digital products in alignment with enterprise standards.
- Work within the organization’s AWS Landing Zone and Well-Architected Framework guidance.
- Collaborate with the central cloud team to provision and configure AWS accounts, networking, and access.
- Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code and configuration management scripts using tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Support application teams in setting up, automating, and evolving development, test, and production environments.
- Contribute to and support CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native applications.
- Assist with containerized workloads running on Amazon ECS.
- Provide guidance on application tenant isolation, networking, and multi-tenancy considerations.
- Help ensure environments meet security, logging, monitoring, and compliance expectations.
- Support change management activities related to cloud infrastructure updates.
- Partner with engineers to troubleshoot cloud-related issues across environments.
- Contribute to documentation and shared patterns for cloud usage within Digital Products.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2–3 years of experience working with cloud infrastructure and platforms.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS.
- Experience using infrastructure-as-code and configuration management tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native deployment workflows.
- Experience supporting containerized applications.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with application teams and platform stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Git-based version control systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
- Experience working within an AWS Landing Zone or governed cloud environment.
- Experience with Amazon ECS and container orchestration concepts.
- Understanding of multi-tenant, SaaS-like application architectures.
- Experience with cloud monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
- Exposure to AWS IoT services, including IoT SiteWise and/or IoT Greengrass.
- Familiarity with security best practices for cloud-native applications.
- AWS certification (Associate or Professional level) is a plus.
