We are seeking exceptional candidates who are passionate about the exciting world of digital technologies, including the Internet of Things, Big Data, Advanced Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning.
The ideal candidate will assume the role of a DevOps Engineer (Jenkins, CI/CD, Git, Shell Scripting, Kubernetes, Logstash) in our Enterprise Technology Practice. They will oversee technical strategy and delivery for our DevOps initiatives throughout their entire lifecycle.
The candidate’s responsibilities will include:
CI/CD Pipeline Implementation:
- Develop, deploy, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Automate software build, test, and deployment processes for enhanced efficiency.
Version Control Management:
- Manage and optimize Git repositories for seamless code collaboration and integration.
- Implement branching strategies and enforce best practices for version control.
Infrastructure Automation:
- Write shell scripts to automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments.
Containerization & Orchestration:
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Optimize cluster performance and troubleshoot container-related issues.
Monitoring & Logging:
- Implement monitoring solutions to track system performance and availability.
Documentation & Installation:
- Read, understand, and document technical requirements and processes.
- Provide installation guidelines and support for deployment across environments.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to streamline DevOps practices.
- Participate in agile workflows, sprints, and retrospectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
- CI/CD Tools: Proficiency in Jenkins and other automation tools.
- Version Control: Strong experience with Git and repository management.
- Scripting: Expertise in Shell scripting for automation and system management.
- Containerization: Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Logging: Knowledge of Logstash and other monitoring tools.
Other Skills:
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
- Understanding of networking, security, and infrastructure best practices.
Experience:
- 2 to 4 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
